A couple of days ago, I was trimming dead wood out of a boxwood bush and look what I found. That’s a wasp nest at the point of the arrow. Thinking it was an old nest, I reached over with my pruning shears and tapped it to knock it loose. Out crawled a wasp to see who was knocking!
Evidently, I woke the wasp from its’ morning nap. It just sat on the nest while I grabbed my bag of bush trimmings and got the heck out of there before he came after me.
I’m slowly taming the jungle, but will be keeping an eye out for dangerous animals. Wasp nest in a bush; what will I find next?
