Review: Su Doku for Dummies

I found Su Doku for Dummies in the new book section at the library yesterday. I’m a bit of a sudoku puzzle addict, so the book came home with me.

The book has about 20 pages of puzzle solving strategies and 240 puzzles to solve with answers. The puzzle solving strategies are a good starter for someone who hasn’t done a lot of sudoku puzzles. And the puzzles will keep you occupied for many hours. Similar puzzle solving strategies can be found on the Internet, e.g., the how to solve section at sudoku.com. There are a number of websites with free sudoku puzzles that you can print or solve online.

If you like to solve puzzles with pencil and paper instead of mouse and keyboard, this book may be for you. Personally, I’ll stick with free online puzzles. No paper to recycle.
